When to go to Baku?
Inside the walls of Icherisheher, Baku keeps the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and the Maiden Tower among carpet workshops and quiet courtyards. Above the skyline, the three Flame Towers change colour through the evening and can be seen from most of the city. The seafront boulevard follows the Caspian past gardens of figs and palms, busy every night.
