When to go to La Baule?
The bay curves for nine kilometres of fine sand, backed by seafront villas from the early days of the resort. Follow the promenade west and it ends at Le Pouliguen's fishing harbour, masts and salt air included. Inland, the Guérande salt marshes lay out their shallow pans and the flavours that come out of them.
