When to go to Interlaken?
Two lakes press in on either side of Interlaken, Thun on one flank and Brienz on the other, one turquoise and one bottle green. Trains climb from here to the Jungfraujoch above 3,000 m, and the Harder Kulm funicular delivers the classic look down the valley. On clear afternoons the sky fills with paragliders drifting over the water.
